Nonostante il caldo di Ferragosto, qualcosa in Italia ha continuato a muoversi cambiando in modo completamente irreversibile: grazie al pronto intervento del legislatore è caduto anche l’ultimo ostacolo che segregava centinaia di migliaia di giocatori di poker su internet nel buio dell’illegalità.
L’Amministrazione Autonoma dei Monopoli di Stato, L’Aams, ha infatti dato il via a quella che potrebbe essere una vera e propria rivoluzione nei costumi dei giocatori italiani, con la legalizzazione del gioco online e quindi il via libera alla creazione di vere proprie sale per tornei di poker online nostrani.
Certo, come al solito si è cercato di non perdere l’occasione per tenere sotto controllo il mercato, sia con la limitazione delle giocate – sarà infatti impossibile giocare somme superiori ai 100€ – sia con l’applicazione di una tassa del 3% sulle vincite al gioco online.
AGICOS, agenzia specializzata nel settore dei giochi e delle lotterie, ha offerto anche una immagine concreta della poratata di questo nuovo settore mostrando come già nel regime di illegalità almeno 200mila internauti che partecipavano regolarmente a partite di poker online sui siti esteri. E se è vero che di questo numero, almeno la metà ha anche aperto un conto di gioco nelle stesse sale, questo aiuta a far capire le dimensioni reali delle cifre in gioco.
“Secondo le nostre stime e sulla base di altre autorevoli esperienze precedenti”, afferma Fabio Felici, direttore Agicos, “potrebbero aprirsi presto addirittura 500 mila conti-gioco sui siti italiani. E, quanto al mercato si dovrebbe aggirare attorno al mezzo miliardo di euro”.
E qualcuno parla ancora di gioco…
