Diario di viaggio: domenica 12 luglio-Verso Legoland

Primo problema finanziario del viaggio: l’albergo dove abbiamo trascorso ben 4 notti non accetta carte di credito e non ce ne eravamo accorti prima! Di assegni neanche a parlarne e con i contanti, anche volendo, non ci arriviamo.
Aggiungiamoci che è pure domenica e quindi le banche, di cui non sapremmo cosa farcene, sono tutte chiuse. Proponiamo un bonifico on-line davanti alla proprietaria dell’albergo ma l’assenza di un PC è limitante…
Risolve tutto mia moglie che si accorge di avere sul suo bancomat anche il circuito Maestro, sconosciuto in Italia ma che in Baviera va per la maggiore: con lo stesso pin italiano riusciamo a pagare e tiriamo un grosso sospiro di sollievo.
Passiamo la mattinata, neanche a dirlo nuvolosa, in riva al lago Chiem, con breve gita in barca elettrica e pic-nic sulla panchina: mangiamo dei panini veramente insulsi comprati ad un distributore di benzina. Purtroppo qui la domenica è tutto chiuso.
Partiamo poi alla volta di Gunzburg, destinazione Legoland. Il viaggio fila via tranquillo anche se sull’altra corsia dell’autostrada vediamo code chilometriche. La ricerca telefonica dell’albergo si dimostra più complicata del previsto. Finiamo in un Best Hotel a 10 minuti dal parco, la sistemazione più cara fino a questo momento, ma stiamo comodi: due camere separate con due bagni, un lusso che non abbiamo mai avuto finora, e una grande area giochi all’interno della struttura dove far sfogare i bambini senza dover uscire. Ceniamo al vicino McDonald: non ne posso più.
